History
Many years in the creation, Family Promise of the Lakeshore finally came into being in November of 2009.  Touched by many hands and supported by many more, Family  Promise was a labor of love for the faith community.

Mission
The mission of Family Promise of the Lakeshore is to engage faith-based groups and the community at large to end homelessness — one family at a time.

Goals

Family Promise keeps families with children together in whatever shape or form that family takes, with compassion and without judgment.

Family Promise helps children and their families without a home find permanent, stable housing to end the emergency shelter cycle.

Family Promise helps parents with life skills that enable them to keep permanent, stable housing for their children.
